Frequently asked questions

What are events and how many do I need?

Events are calls that we forward to a third-party endpoint (e.g. Google Analytics). These include, for example, PageView, eCommerce or custom events. A rough guide to the required number is the events report in GA4, but without session_start and first_visit events. Incidentally, pure calls to the Google Tag Manager container do not count as an event.

What happens if my plan is not enough?

First of all, we will inform you by email as soon as 75% of your booked events have been used. This leaves you enough time to upgrade. If an upgrade does not occur, our system will deactivate tracking after 24 hours at the latest so that no further events are forwarded. Only when the upgrade takes place or the next billing cycle begins will tracking be activated again.

What happens at the end of the test phase?

At the end of the trial period, your plan will automatically be switched to the free "FREE plan". However, the FREE plan only includes 1,000 events per month. You can upgrade to the plan you need at any time.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, cancellation is possible at any time. The remaining term then depends on the term you have booked (monthly or yearly). The cancellation can be made either in your Anogate account or directly with Paddle.com (our payment service provider).
